Working on your Internet Presence.
According to recent studies between 75% and 85% of buyers begin their property search on the Internet. Those are incredible numbers! So the question is……will they find you? If your answer is no then you have a lot of work to do.
The good news is that you can build a great internet presence in a relatively short period of time. If you work at it everyday it will take a year or less.
The first test is to Google your name. Go ahead……do it now. Did you find anything? If you were a potential buyer/seller would what you find make you want to hire that person?
OK so let’s get started with increasing your Internet presence.

Most require nothing more than setting up a profile. Your profile however is very important. It should mention what you do and where you do it. It should also let the public know who you are. Tell a little bit about yourself.
Your profile is NOT an advertisement. It is more of a bio. BUT….you do want it to attract business. The key is to remember that people work with people they like and who they have something in common with.
With that in mind your profile needs to be friendly and should tell about some of your interests.
You also want it to be pithy. People should be able to get an excellent feel of who you are by quickly reading through your profile. A couple of paragraphs is enough.
Your profile is also the place where you can link to your websites and other profiles. All of your Internet stuff needs to be linked together. If folks find one of your profiles it should lead them to the others. And of course it should lead them to your website.
Your website is where they can find details on properties and information related to buying and selling real estate.
